WSFCEA
Winston Salem/Forsyth County Emancipation Association
The Winston Salem/Forsyth County Emancipation Association (WSFCEA) has been around since 1915 with Simon G. Atkins as its first president. It was built on two components---education and salvation. Education teaches us to learn and do things better. Salvation enables us to use effectively what we have learned. The WSFCEA wants to continue helping some deserving high school seniors further their education. Each year, scholarships are awarded during the Emancipation program on January 1st.
The communities of Winston Salem and Forsyth County have supported us over the years. We need your help to continue our scholarships. You can become a member of the association for $10 a year. We also need contributions in amounts of--$25, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1000, or greater. You can send your monetary gift (Check or Money Order) to Winston Salem/Forsyth County Emancipation Association (or WSFCEA), Post Office Box 1204, Winston-Salem, NC 27102. You can also make a donation by clicking on the Donations and Dues button.
